Continuation from the last part...
Veere with his men searched every bus, in this bus he saw a couple being cozy "ye bhaisaab aapki biwi he?" he asked chewing his paan.
("brother, Is she your wife?")
Abhay glared at him and pushed him away from their seat, "chup chaap yahanse niklo, meri biwi ki neend kharab horahe" his intense gaze veere to shit in his pants, not wanting to crush in Abhays' hands he asked his men to go from here.
("Quietly get out of here, you're disturbing my wife's sleep.")
Abhay's well-built physique screamed 'officer,'Â indicating that any wrongdoing on his part would put him at risk. He was already involved in a police case on certain matters.
"ohh bhaaya, nandini tho mili nahi kabse dundrahehe, mili nahi rahihe...shayad aapki gaow me hi kahi chupi hogi, uss gawaar ko yahan tak aaneka himmat nahi he bhaaya" saying this he put his mobile down after informing ravinder about the search and nandini.
("Oh brother, Nandini hasn’t been found; we’ve been searching for her for so long, but she’s nowhere to be found. Maybe she’s hiding somewhere in your village; that villager wouldn’t have the courage to come this far, brother.")
Veere left with his people "hey, woh log chalegaye, tum aaramse saans lesakthiho" Abhay said as he lifted the blanket and looked at her. A horrified look appeared on Nandini's face.
("Hey, they’ve gone. You can breathe easily now," )
Abhay took out his kerchief and wiped her face. After giving her some water, he calmly asked, "dekho mein tumhe bolnekeliye force nahi karunga, par ek baat bathadu mein police force me hu...aur tumhari help karunga jo bhi ho batado" he asked her In a calm tone.
( "Look, I won’t force you to speak, but let me tell you, I’m in the police force... and I will help you. Whatever it is, just tell me.")
Nandini flinched at the mention of the police, but in Abhay's calm tone, she hesitantly began to share her incomplete story."mein zyada padi likhi nahi hoon, mere maa baap jab choti tab guzar gayethe...mere kaka kaki ne mere dhyaan rakheke bahane saara zameen zaydat leli aur mujhe ek buddese shaadi karwarahe he...toh mein ghar se nikal padi" Her eyes were filled with fear, and, feeling nervous, she grabbed his hand, trying to make her story seem convincing.
( "I’m not very educated. My parents passed away when I was young... My uncle and aunt took care of me, but they took all the land and property under false pretenses, and now they are trying to marry me off to an old man... So, I ran away from home." )
And it worked. Abhay gritted his teeth and assured her that he would help her. "abb kaha jaariho? koi jaan-pehchaan waale he kya? me tumhe wahan chod detha hu" abhay asked her.
("Where are you going now? Do you know anyone there? I’ll drop you off.")
"aisa koi nahi he mere, ek nayi zindagi shuru karne jaarahi hu" She said with sad eyes, her words carrying deep meaning.
("I don't have anyone like that. I’m about to start a new life.")
Abhay assessed her situation and asked her some basic questions, as she appeared very young.
"mere paas 1000 rupees he, isse ek makaan leke kaam karloongi kisike ghar pe" she said her innocent plan to abhay.
("I have 1000 rupees. With this, I’ll rent a place and work at someone’s house.")
he sighed at her innocence, "aisa nahi hotha he, do din ka khana bhi nahi aayega iss rupayyon se...aur tumhara patti kaise karwavogi, khana kaise khaogi?" Abhay asked her, and his question made her cry as she looked around, unsure of what to say.
("It doesn’t work like that. With this money, you won’t even get two days’ worth of food… and how will you feed yourself?")
"ok ok ro mat, abhi bus rukegi toh patti karwalenge, baad me sochenge kya karna he" Abhay said, making her comfortable, so he could ask her to come with him.
("Okay, okay, don't cry. As soon as the bus stops, we’ll figure it out. We'll think about what to do later.")
The bus driver asked everyone to eat and return in 30 minutes. Abhay took her to a small medical store, and after getting their medicines, they ate some food and returned to the bus.
Abhay asked Nandini to rest for a while when he noticed her fretting about the money she had—only 750 rupees left.
He made her rest on his shoulder. She had taken her medicine, so she was in a deep sleep. After some time, Abhay’s phone rang. He instructed his team member to bring his Bullet to XYZ place and informed him about some developments during his stay at home.
After the call, he noticed Nandini was resting her head on his chest. He gently adjusted her head and her veil over her right breast. As the bus oscillated, she woke up and saw him making the adjustments.
He stopped his actions and got lost in her eyes, instantly captivated by the connection between her eyes and lips. His hands gently dropped the veil, and his gaze landed on her cleavage, which was perfectly white and spotless.
"Her being in his arms, their breaths were whispering some secrets to each other. There was no gap between their bodies, unintentionally he adjusted her veil on the right breast. His mere touch made her flinch and his alter-ego was on 7th sky."
Caught in the act, he asked her. "mujhpe yakeen hein?" She nodded her head and placed his hand between her hands.
("Do you trust me?")
"mere saath chalogi? tumhe achese rakhunga" He said, reflecting his thoughts on her. A naive and innocent Nandini, just 17, would obviously say yes to him.
("So, will you come with me? I will take good care of you." )
The bus driver dropped them in the hustle of Delhi city. Abhay's assistant greeted him and noticed a lady in her veil but said nothing. "Sir, Randeep sir asked you to report tomorrow early in the morning. You can rest today as you were injured," he informed Abhay of their higher officer’s orders.
"Okay, is everything ready at my house—food and clothes?" Abhay asked his assistant.
"Yes, sir. Two of my wife’s dresses are there, and all the food items are there," he said and took his leave.
Abhay saw Nandini standing there, the sun scorching down, so he asked her to climb onto his Bullet bike. He placed her small bag on the handle. "Ready?" he asked her. It was Nandini's first time sitting on a bike, so she whimpered at every bump and slope.
As it was a festival day, many children were cracking firecrackers. Abhay caught her looking at the children. "tumhe bhi bomb podnihe?" he asked her.
("Do you also want to burst crackers?")
Her face was red with embarrassment, but she nodded her head. Abhay stopped his bike at the side of the road, bought something, and placed the plastic bag on her lap. They continued their journey to his home.
It was a two-story building with two rooms on the first floor, a kitchen, a hall, and a large garden. Nandini's eyes resembled headlights, wide with wonder. "aao andar chalthe, khana banana aathahe?" nandini nodded her head enthusiastically.
("Come, let’s go inside. Do you know how to cook?")
Abhay chuckled at her petite frame and asked her to freshen up in a room. By the time Nandini came downstairs, Abhay was barking orders at his subordinates about the recent developments in the drug case. However, seeing Nandini, he calmed down and gently asked her to go to the kitchen.
Nandini, not knowing anything about the kitchen, stuck to a small stove, as everything else was automatic. Abhay watched her trying to lift the stove, puzzled by her actions. "are ye kyun chahiye?" Nandini, not knowing what to say, "ye sab chalana nahi aatha hume" looking around she said.
("why do you need this?") ("I don’t know how to use this")
"okay me sikhaounga toh seekhegi?" Nandini nodded at the idea. Abhay explained everything about the kitchen, and she eagerly set out to prepare everything.
("Okay, if I teach you, will you learn?)
Unable to hold back his emotions, Abhay sat on a kitchen chair. It was a serene feeling—having someone cook for you, care for you, and listen to you. It was a dream Abhay had always cherished.
Being in the military and now in the police department was never easy. He had a girlfriend during college, but it was never serious. After that, his celibacy only grew stronger, and he never pursued anyone. However, now, seeing Nandini, he wants to have her and complete his life with her.
He stood behind her and inhaled her scent. Nandini, sensing his presence, turned her face toward him. He was unable to control his breath, which felt like a feather against his lips. Hypnotized by his gaze, Nandini placed her hands on his chest. Abhay gripped her waist and pressed his lips against hers. Like a moth drawn to a flame, he explored her mouth with fervor. Nandini, unsure of what to do, tightened her grip on his suit coat.
